Free Shipping
We offerfree standard shipping on orders and items that meet certain conditions:
- When cardholders use their AcademyCredit Card to place orders on Academy.com, we offer free shipping oneligible orders over $15.
- When customers are signed in to their myAcademy account, we offer free shipping oneligible orders over $25.
- When customers are NOT signed in to a myAcademy account, we offer free shipping oneligible orders over $50.

Free shipping for cardholders: Limited to Standard Shipping. Cannot be combined with theAcademy Sports + Outdoors employee discount. Bulk and select items may be excluded. See theproduct page for shipping information. Academy Sports + Outdoors does not ship to Alaska,California, or Hawaii. A minimum pre-tax purchase of $15.00 is required to receive a discount.

Standard Shipping (3-5 Business Days)
- We ship most items to the contiguous states of the United States, (excluding California) viaStandard Ground service.
- Most orders arrive within 3-5 business days. Business days include Monday, Tuesday,Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday — excluding United States federal holidays.
- We offer same-day order processing. To qualify, you must place yours before 2:00 pm CST(Central Standard Time) Monday to Friday (excluding U.S. federal holidays).
Express Shipping (2 Business Days)
- We ship most items to the contiguous states of the United States (excluding California) via2-Day Express service.
- Expedited shipping may not be available to all zip codes.
- You can expect your order to arrive within two business days. Business days include Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday — excluding United States federal holidays.
- Orders placed Monday through Friday (excluding Holidays) before 2:00 PM CT will bereceived the next business day.
- Any orders placed on the weekends, holidays, or weekdays after 2:00 PM CST (Central StandardTime) will be received within two business days.
Shipping to P.O. Boxes (3-10 Business Days)
- We ship most items to the contiguous states of the United States (excluding California).Most orders arrive within 3-10 business days. Business days include Monday, Tuesday,Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday — excluding United States federal holidays.
- Items addressed to a P.O. Box may be shipped via US Postal Service/Smart Post. Somerestrictions may apply.
Note: Some items are too big to ship to a P.O. Box and must be shipped to a street address. Items over 70 lbs. or flammable cannot be shipped via US Postal Service at this time
Military APO/FPO Addresses (4-6 Weeks)
We ship most items to Military post offices — like an Army Post Office (APO) or Fleet Post Office(FPO) — addresses via US Postal Service, but some restrictions do apply. Business daysincludeMonday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday — excluding United States federal holidays.
Note: Due to US Postal Service restrictions, some items cannot be shipped tothese Military addresses. Items that are over 70 lbs. or flammable cannot be shipped via USPostal Service at this time.
Scheduled Delivery for Heavy or Bulky Items (7-14 Business Days)
Academy offers scheduled delivery shipping via a freight trucking company for certainheavy orbulky items that cannot be shipped via parcel carrier (e.g. UPS, FedEx, or USPS). During thecheckout process, we automatically select which products require this option. After enteringyour shipping information, we verify if special delivery services are available in your area.
Most ‘Oversized Items’ leave our distribution center within one full business day. You can expectyour order to arrive within 7-14 business days. Business days include Monday, Tuesday,Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday — excluding United States federal holidays.
If your order qualifies, you can choose from one of the following options:
- Basic Delivery - The carrier will deliver to your door with no appointment orsignaturerequired.
- Scheduled Delivery - The carrier will contact you to schedule your delivery withinthe mainentrance of your home.
- Room of Choice - The carrier will contact you to schedule your delivery to your roomofchoice.
Note: Orders ship via Academy's Bulk Carrier Service. Additionally, bulkordersare not eligible for P.O. Box or APO/FPO/DPO delivery.
Gift cards (3-5 Business Days)
- We ship gift cards to the contiguous states of the United States (excluding California)viaStandard Ground service.
- Your order usually arrives within 3-5 business days. Business days include Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday — excluding United States federal holidays.
- You must place the order before 2:00 pm CST (Central Standard Time) Monday to Friday(excludingfederal holidays within the United States) in order for us to process your order thesame day.
Shipping Restrictions/Limitations
Academy ships to the contiguous states of the United States (excluding California):
- We currently do not ship to Alaska, California, Hawaii, or U.S. territories (such asPuertoRico).
- We do not offer shipping outside of the United States.
